As you can see in my bibliography, I have been writing and illustrating children’s books since 1988. Throughout the years I have published more than 160 titles.
To make communication efficient, all my stories are written with short, simple sentences. Not only does this allow for easier reading, but it leaves room for freshness and clarity in the illustrations. I believe in the importance of creating stories to help children to identify and clarify their emotions. To this end I tap into their imaginations and try to create a significant world with which they can relate.
My illustrations attain their real meaning accompanied by a light text. The pleasure of reading goes hand in hand with a delight in the colours used in the illustrations, the joy of their lines and their arabesques. What could be warmer than to feel the gestures as well as the stroke of the pen or pencil on paper?
